Although we did not get to visit in person but a few times over the years, we enjoyed writing back and forth to each other That has been a great joy. Carolyn was a very intelligent, witty, and straightforward writer who sincerely shared her opinions, feelings, and beliefs in a way that one had to appreciate and respect. I was especially encouraged by her expressions of her faith in God and love for the Lord. She is so loved by family and friends. Many of my acquaintances who would read her comments on my Facebook have expressed to me that they will miss her and her writings even though they did not know her personally.
